House Concert Series

Full moon, beautiful night, fabulous music, great belly laughs,music by the pit, what more could one ask for? Our March 3rd concert at no place special was yet another great success. Tom started the evening with his uncanny ability to capture the audience from his first song. The audience was splitting their sides until Tom showed us a bit of his sensitive side with 2 songs about his sons. What a treat for us. THEN Danielle burst upon the scene with her phenomenal music. The audience was in awe the whole evening. Then all the chairs were moved and we experienced an unexpected treat as Tom and his friend Greg took the stage and delighted us with another set as the audience let loose and had a dancing set. Everyone insisted that this group return.

BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they will be back!

Our February concert was a huge success! Ryan Mccalmon opened the night to a full house. The audience loved his cool relaxed style. Thanks Ryan I know that you will be back.

And whatever happened to that sweet quiet woman Jen Murdza? She exploded from the get go and had the whole room rocking ALL night with her phenomenal songs. Her performance was like we have never seen her before. Absolutely delightful! We know that she will be back to open for Ryan Montbleau on June 3rd. Do NOT miss that show! Limited seating so order your seat early.

Another full house at NPS!

January 20, 2007

What an amazing night of music on January 20th. We had two wonderful acts come all the way from New York to play at No Place Special. It started off with The Mumbles, a very talented keyboard and drums duo, that had everyone on their feet with their souful jazzy sound.

Up next was Matt Williams. We've been waiting for Matt to come ever since the first day we played his cd and Elizabeth would dance around and shake shake shake to it. He did not disappoint. He had the whole audience "howling" along to his amazing songs. The final treat was having Matt and The Mumbles jam together for the first time ever at No Place Special! It was a great night!

Our December 9th concert was another success. Brooke Brown Saracino started out the night. Everyone enjoyed her music and had a great time singing along to Ole Suzannah, especially Ricci.

Larry Zarella, as usual, gave a fabulous performance. The crowd loved him and by the end of the evening everyone was on their feet dancing.

Thanks again to our fabulous No Place Special musicians. Get ready for January 20th with the Mumbles and Matt Williams! Happy New Years to all!

Our first No Place Special house concert was a huge success. Artists, audience and hosts were all in sync with one another making for a very enjoyable evening.

It all started with Tom Bianchi who immediately captured the audience with his quick wit and fabulous voice. Some said he should be on broadway. Watch out Broadway!

Next came Danielle Miraglia with a voice and lyrics to die for. The audience could not get enough of her. That means she has to come back!

By the time Jen Murdza was through with her sultry smooth set I thought that I might have to tie some of the men in their seats. These 2 women were just too much! We love you Jen!

Then came Larry Zarella! What can I say? I heard him called eye candy! Isn't that sweet? Of course we all have a special place in our hearts for him and he is one of the most talented people I know, with one of the most sexy voices.

We hope to have many more house concerts at No Place Special but I think it will be hard to beat this one!
